Embedded Linux services.

Embedded Linux for Industry -- What we do

Kernel and driver development on your hardware, complete Linux images built and maintained for your product, consulting and more. Our services cover the complete lifetime of your product.

The result for you: one partner for the whole stack instead of juggling bootloader, kernel, and BSP vendors — fewer integration surprises, a shorter time-to-first-boot, and a platform someone still supports in five years.

Operating Systems

A complete Linux image built with ELBE or Yocto, hardened by construction, with a signed update path and maintenance for as long as the product ships. IGLOS, our pre-integrated industrial platform, can be adapted instead of building a baseline from scratch.

What that means for you: a working, secure, updatable image  not a mess of separately-sourced components you have to integrate and maintain yourself.

  • Image build — ELBE for Debian-based images using Debian’s binary packages; Yocto when everything must be built from source with full control over versions and patches.
  • Board support packages — bring-up, kernel configuration, and board-specific tuning
  • Build system setup — reproducible pipeline in your CI, layer structure under your version control
  • Security hardening — MAC policies, filesystem integrity, secure boot chain, key management
  • SBOM and compliance — CycloneDX or SPDX generation, documentation for IEC 62443 and CRA
  • Updates — A/B partitioning with rollback, integrated with RAUC, SWUpdate, or a custom client
  • Isolation — Jailhouse, Xen, KVM, and containers to consolidate workloads on a single SoC
  • Boot time — bootloader, kernel, and init tuning against a defined critical path
  • IGLOS adoption — adapting our pre-integrated industrial platform to your hardware

Linux kernel

Board support, drivers, and networking, developed by kernel maintainers. Where code belongs upstream, we carry it into mainline, so the product does not depend on a fork being maintained for its lifetime.

What that means for you: your product doesn’t depend on a fork someone has to keep alive forever. Patches that live in mainline get maintained by the kernel community, not just by you.

  • Driver development — peripherals, SoC support, and device tree work
  • Networking — switchdev and DSA switch drivers, PTP hardware timestamping, TSN enablement
  • Real-Time Linux configuration — Preempt-RT integration, CPU isolation, IRQ affinity
  • Latency analysis — cyclictest campaigns under load, tracing, and remediation on your hardware
  • Kernel version migration — moving to a newer LTS while carrying configuration and patches forward
  • Upstreaming — patches prepared, submitted, and maintained in mainline Linux
  • Bugfixing — kernel and driver defects across the networking, timing, and locking subsystems
  • Long-term maintenance — patch backporting, CVE triage, and image releases for deployed fleets

Consulting

For systems that already exist, and for decisions taken before development starts.

What that means for you: an outside expert view before a costly mistake ships or a fast  diagnosis when something in the already has failed.

  • Architecture review — system design, build system, kernel configuration, and image composition
  • Security assessment — threat modelling, hardening review, and gap analysis against IEC 62443 and CRA
  • Troubleshooting — latency spikes, boot failures, kernel crashes, and defects that are hard to reproduce
  • Technology selection — build system, hypervisor, update mechanism, and hardware platform decisions
  • Certification support — documentation and evidence for functional safety and cybersecurity approvals
  • Independent assessment — review of a vendor deliverable or an internal design
