Wilfried Wessner – Managing Director
Wilfried Wessner, formerly Director of Research & Development, has taken on the role of Managing Director. Since joining Linutronix in 2022, he has brought extensive expertise from his background in semiconductor device simulation and the management of international software development and research organizations. A committed advocate of Linux and open-source technologies, Wilfried now leads the company with a strong technical focus and a clear vision for innovation and long-term technological excellence.

Katharina Kopp – Managing Director
Katharina Kopp has been with Linutronix since November 2011. During her studies, she gained experience in accounting and staff administration in her family’s business. She developed a deep understanding of the company’s internal structures, processes, and rich history at an early stage. Since 2022, she has been responsible for Finance and Administration as well as QMS. As Managing Director, Katharina combines her in-depth knowledge with a clear vision for efficient processes and the sustainable organizational and economic development of the company.

Alexander Gieringer – Managing Director
Alexander Gieringer joined Linutronix in 2023 as a Project Manager and quickly took on additional responsibility for sales and customer engagement. Before joining the company, he spent over 15 years developing software components for in-vehicle infotainment systems for leading automotive manufacturers, before moving into leadership roles. As Managing Director, he focuses on business operations, customer engagement, and fostering the company’s team and culture.

Heinz Egger & Thomas Gleixner - Founders in Advisory Roles
Company founders Heinz Egger and Thomas Gleixner have transitioned into advisory roles after many years of operational leadership. With more than two decades of experience in the domains of embedded systems, automation, and Linux kernel, they both continue to support Linutronix with their strategic insight and deep industry knowledge. As trusted advisors, Heinz and Thomas help guide the company they established years ago, ensuring continuity, stability, and expertise within the organization.

Our Team of developers consists of highly qualified and motivated employees with many years of experience in the Linux and embedded environment. All our experts are permanent employees, so that we can offer you permanent contact persons in long term partnerships.
