Course Description

Learn how to use E.L.B.E. to create a Debian based distribution that is exactly tailored to your needs. Learn about the advantages this offers compared to Yocto (security, maintenance). And learn at the same time how to solve your management of versions and variants.

You will learn the basics of Debian (packages, dependencies, build process) and how to get your (reproducible) image. Using E.L.B.E. you build your own Debian package. And you will get an overview of the topics Debian and Update in terms of Security.

Requirements

To participate in this course, basic knowledge of the Linux operating system is expected as well as experience in dealing with the shell.
